About Craftinson

Craftinson is a small independent design and manufacturing business based in Oxford, creating distinctive products in small quantities.

The idea behind Craftinson is simple: combine modern digital manufacturing with hands-on craftsmanship to make products that are practical, well made and a little different from mass-produced alternatives.

Craftinson specialises in prototypes and one-off pieces, allowing more attention to be given to creativity, design, materials and the finish of each product.

Designed & Made in Oxford

Each product starts with an idea and is developed from design through to manufacture.

CAD design and CNC machining allow accurate components, detailed engraving and more complex shapes to be produced, while assembly, sanding and finishing are completed by hand.

Materials such as wood, aluminium and resin are chosen to suit each design. Natural materials bring their own grain, colour and character, meaning individually made pieces will never be completely identical.

This combination of precision machining, carefully chosen materials and hands-on finishing is at the heart of Craftinson.

Custom Projects

Craftinson also takes on selected custom and personalised projects, from alterations to existing designs through to completely new ideas.
